Cooking for Geeks
In our house we love our food. Lorraine like to bake cakes, cupcakes, whoopie pies and all manner of sweet things, and I like to eat them! When I have the time though, I can often be found in the kitchen too. Generally at weekends, when I do have a bit more time, I love to cook. My favourite type of food to cook, is either Asian or Moroccan. There are quite a few cookbooks lining our shelves, not to mention the cooking apps on the iPad.
One of my favourite books though, was a Christmas gift last year. Lorraine and I had noticed this book in the Wired store in NYC, and when we came home Lorraine mentioned it to her mum as a present for me.

The cover says it all really. The book has so much in it, from recipes, to how to organise your kitchen for the most efficient cooking experience. From how to learn what spices and foods go together, to how to superheat your oven to cook a pizza in 45 seconds flat (it tells you how to do this, but doesn’t recommend it). It isn;t a traditional cook book, it is a book that I need to sit down and read through, more like a textbook, but it really is brilliant.
